A few weeks ago my dad mentioned he had some time share points that would be expiring at the end of March. My wheels started turning and decided to use them for a Spring Break Get Away!
We were super lucky and were able to book 2 condos in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Dad and Bobbye joined us for a short trip full of fun, sun, snow and more snow!

When we arrived in Steamboat it was SUNNY ~ 60 degrees ~ and beautiful!! We spent our 1st afternoon eating lunch at the Tap House and shopping downtown. Since all of us are big Nugget fans we picked up pizza for dinner and headed back to the condo to watch the Nuggets beat the Atlanta Hawks. The kids and I skipped the 4th quarter and headed to the swimming pool.

After a beautiful 60 degree day … boy were we surprised when we woke up to 8” of fresh powder and LOTS more SNOW falling from the sky. --- PERFECT day for some Snow Tubing! We spend the afternoon Tubing at Saddleback Ranch. The kids had a BLAST!! It snowed ALL DAY LONG! It wasn’t super COLD but the SNOW was WET!!! By the time we left the Snow Hill we were all SOAKING WET.

The rest of the trip was spent relaxing, napping and swimming in the Hot Springs. Justin spent an hour straight riding the tube slides. Makenna was too short. Amazingly none of us got sick after swimming outside while it was snowing. The pool felt fabulous … 97 degrees … but when you had to get out it was BURRRRRRRRRRR Freezing COLD!
